Iya Traore, a famous Guinea jongler, announced on his Facebook page the organization of the second edition of the Guinea Freestyle Football Championship.
In his post, Iya Traore invites all football jugglers, girls and boys of all ages, across Guinea, to participate in this competition. The final will take place on December 28, 2024 in Conakry.
The winner will win a prize of 10,000,000 Guinean francs (approximately 1000 euros) as well as balloons and shirts dedicated by Iya Traore himself. Many other surprises are also planned.
To participate, candidates must submit a maximum 3 minute video of their jongling performance, without editing, by 1 November 2024 on Iya Traore's WhatsApp. The latter specifies that he will not watch videos of less than 3 minutes or higher.
This competition aims to promote freestyle football in Guinea and to detect new talents in this discipline. Iya Traore thus wants to offer a platform for young Guinean footballers to express themselves and make themselves known.
Participation is free, which should allow many enthusiasts to register and try their chance to win this championship.
