The prodigy son Fadi Wazni invests in homeland

Guinea is fortunate to have among its children one of the greatest economic visionaries of this century. Fadi Wazni, a very wealthy businessman from Conakry, has just announced a major project in his home country. A titanic investment that could well mark a major industrial turning point for the nation.

Wazni, the brilliant success of an exceptional Guinean

At the age of 58, Fadi Wazni is among the greatest fortunes on the African continent with $4 billion! A breathtaking journey for this brilliant entrepreneur born in a popular neighborhood of Conakry.

After graduate studies in Lebanon and then in France, he founded in the 1990s the UMS group, specializing in metals, oil and real estate. A bold bet that will quickly bear fruit thanks to Wazni’s legendary auflair to identify the best investment opportunities.

Now based in Dubai, the Guinean billionaire presides over the destinies of a real empire with global branches. An inspiring example of success through work and perseverance!

A state-of-the-art mega refinery in Boké

The Prime Minister of Guinea has therefore received Fadi Wazni with a real head of crown. Headed by a delegation of the powerful Alteo group of which he is one of the main shareholders, the businessman came to present a pharaonic industrial project.

It is neither more nor less than building in the Boké region an immense aluminum refinery with a production capacity of 1 million tonnes per year! A technological gem that will run on liquefied natural gas, cleaner energy than conventional fossil fuels.

An asset for local resource transformation

For Guinea, rich in mineral resources such as bauxite, this refinery represents a tremendous asset in the race to industrialization. It will enable these precious raw materials to be valued on the ground, instead of exporting them raw as in the past.

It is therefore a real economic turning point that is emerging, capable of creating a manna of jobs and financial returns for the country. The challenge, however, was taken in advance, according to Wazni, who pledged to train on the ground the engineers and technicians needed for the construction and then the operation of the refinery.

Towards a new industrial flower in Guinea?

Following this toning presentation, the Prime Minister has already assured the businessman of his full administrative support for the completion of this major construction project. A strong signal that promises the early start of the work.

There is no doubt that all eyes will be on this future giant refinery, called to become an industrial symbol of the emerging New Guinea. A source of national pride that Fadi Wazni, as a worthy ambassador, intends to capitalize on for future investments!
