Aubin Théa, a Guinean artist from the picturesque forest region, truly embodies the musical heritage of his family. His father, the late conductor of the famous Nimba Succes de Lola, and his mother, the leader of the Laine pioneer movement in Forest Guinea, left an indelible mark on his artistic destiny.

Aubin's musical adventure began in 1996, when he was still in primary school. Armed with musical instruments and animated by overwhelming creativity, he managed to make three models in his hometown of Lola. However, the turning point came during her vacation in Conakry in 2002, when her artist brother, Konia Moussa, invited her to the studio to help prepare an album.

A year later, when he was to pursue his studies in Conakry, his fate took a different turn. By entrusting the responsibility to his nephew, Mouslux, from Luxembourg, Aubin made a bold choice: to abandon his studies to devote himself entirely to his musical passion. In 2003, he released his very first album, "GNATY", marking the beginning of a promising career.

Three years later, in 2006, Aubin Théa once again enchanted his fans with a new song, "GNATYNEA". His flourishing creativity was fully manifested in 2007 with the release of the album "Le Bilan", demonstrating the constant evolution of his musical imagination.

In 2009, a fourth album was released, entitled "L'Autre Visage du Monde". However, determined to take a step back to better rebound, Aubin chose a strategic break in his career. The time of this reflection ends in a new era, marked by the birth of the brand "Katouwa" on February 19, 2012.

This bold leap into the unknown captured everyone's attention, testifying to the determination and exceptional talent of Aubin Théa. Through his music, he highlights the colours of Forest Guinea, celebrating the family musical heritage while writing his own history in the enchanting notes of tradition and innovation. Aubin Théa, a constantly evolving musical legend, continues to inspire with his unshakable passion and commitment to art that transcends cultural boundaries.
