Clairvoyant

But what truly propelled M'mah Touré into the limelight was her gift of clairvoyance. Indeed, she managed to accurately predict several major events in Guinea.

A few months before the military coup of September 5, 2021 that overthrew President Alpha Condé, M'mah Touré had announced this regime change in a video that went viral on social media. She had even described the rise to power of a young soldier, a premonition that proved true with the seizure of power by Colonel Mamady Doumbouya.

In another shocking video, M'mah Touré warned of a series of fires that would hit Guinea. She urged the population to perform specific sacrifices to avoid this catastrophe.

A recurrent element in M'mah Touré's predictions was the need to perform sacrifices to ward off misfortune. Whether by offering ice, throwing peanuts in the street or removing kola nuts in mosques, her detailed instructions aimed to prevent chaos and bloodshed in Guinea.

Recent Revelations

But M'mah Touré did not stop there. In May 2023, she issued a new warning, evoking a disturbing vision for the future of Guinea.

In this video that went viral on June 4, 2024, M'mah Touré hinted that the reign of General Mamady Doumbouya, at the head of the military junta, could come to an end. She spoke of "something falling from the sky" and a "tall man with a big belly" refusing to show himself, suggesting a possible change of power.

Although M'mah Touré did not provide precise details on the identity of this "tall man", her statements fueled much speculation about the person or group that could potentially overthrow Mamady Doumbouya.

In the same video, the artist also raised the possibility of an earthquake striking Guinea. She encouraged Guineans to pray and perform specific rituals to prevent this natural disaster.

Private Life

Despite her growing notoriety, M'mah Touré has always managed to preserve part of her private life. It is known, however, that she was married to a certain Philippe Delhez, who died in January 2022 in Conakry following an illness.

Conclusion

M'mah Touré is a phenomenon unto herself in the Guinean cultural landscape. Her unique blend of artistic talent and clairvoyance has made her an unavoidable figure, respected and sometimes controversial. Whether one adheres to her predictions or not, her impact on Guinean society is undeniable.
