An event organized by Guineénews this afternoon at the Maison de la Presse awarded Aboubacar Sidiki Diakité (Toumba) as the 2022 personality of the year.
Today, the traditional vote for Guineenews' personality of the year has delivered its verdict for the 6th edition. The lucky winner, Commander Aboubacar Sikiki Diakité, alias ''Toumba'' in detention at the Coronthie Central House for acts related to the events of September 28, 2009, the trial that is ongoing. His lawyers received the trophy on his behalf.
It was the Director General of Guineanews' office in Conakry, Amadou Tham Camara, who presented the trophy to Paul Yomba Kourouma and Lancinet Sylla both the lawyers of Toumba, the former ide-de-camp of Dadis Camara.
