Illuminated Ramadan: Mimiche Diabaté and Daraba Moussa shine in Nongo

Within the framework of the charitable initiative "Ramadan Illuminé" organized by the association 2AD&S, the Guinean stars Mimiche Diabaté and Daraba Moussa illuminated the popular neighborhood of Nongo with a special glow. Their presence and generosity brought joy and comfort to the hundreds of people who came to share the collective iftar.

The Illuminate Ramadan aims to celebrate the sacred month of Ramadan by gathering the Conakrykas from all corners around a fraternal meal gracefully offered. Every week, the association walks through the different neighborhoods of the capital to bring warmth and comfort to the poorest in this blessed period.

Mimiche, the voice of Guinean musical elegance, and Daraba Moussa, the Ace of Mandinga percussion, fully embraced the values of sharing and solidarity embodied by Ramadan Illuminé. Their participation in the Nongo event was warmly welcomed by the local population.

"It is an immense honour for us to have Mimiche and Daraba with us today. Their presence inspires a momentum of hope and joy among the beneficiaries," said Mamadou Saliou Diallo, president of 2AD&S.

As soon as they arrived on the scene, Mimiche and Daraba were surrounded by a flood of happy fans. They took the time to exchange, take photos and even perform a few a cappella tracks at the dull rhythm of the Daraba jambes. Emotional moments for everybody.

"I am very touched by the initiative of Ramadan Illuminé. It is a duty for us, artists, to stand by our people, especially during this sacred period," Mimiche confessed with great humility.

At the end of the day, hundreds of guests gathered in a friendly atmosphere to enjoy the rich meal prepared by the volunteers. Mimiche and Daraba joined them, exchanging with the recipients in perfect communion.

"It was a real pleasure to participate in this noble cause," Mimiche said on his Facebook page a few hours later. "May this solidarity unite us more and more in these blessed times."

Driven by the positive energy of these two exceptional ambassadors, the evening of Nongo will remain engraved in memory as a moment of absolute grace and sharing. Another achievement for the Illuminated Ramadan initiative whose brightness will continue to illuminate other neighborhoods of Conakry.
