Subsequently, he was granted a scholarship by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, enabling him to delve deeper into the sciences of Arabic language, hadith, and tafsir under the tutelage of esteemed scholars at the Great Mosque in Makkah Al-Mukarramah.

Sano's academic journey continued at King Saud University in Riyadh, where he graduated with distinction and first-class honors in 1989, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Comparative Law from the Faculty of Education. He furthered his studies, earning a master's degree in Comparative Law with distinction from King Saud University in 1992.

Not content with his achievements, Sano pursued a doctorate in the philosophy of comparative law at the International University of Malaysia in 1996, solidifying his position as a scholar of repute.

In 1998, he acquired a graduate degree in banking and Islamic finance from the International Islamic University Malaysia, adding to his diverse academic expertise. Finally, in 2001, he earned a doctorate in Islamic finance with honors from the University of Zaitouna in Tunisia, underscoring his commitment to advancing the field.
