Professional Career
Having acquired a solid academic foundation, Fascinet Sylla embarked on a rich and diverse career. His first steps were marked by a more than 10-year transfer to the Central Bank of Guinea, where he held the position of Director of Research, Statistics and International Relations in the 1990s and 2000s.
Subsequently, he joined the Western African Monetary Institute (IMAO) in Accra, Ghana, where he served for 8 years as Head of Division. During this period, it undertook in-depth economic studies and analyses on all aspects of integration into the West African Monetary Zone. (ZMAO).
He has also coordinated statistical development and harmonization activities within ZMAO in connection with the ECOWAS Commission, including the establishment and follow-up of the ECOMAC Programme.

Building on his considerable experience, Fascinet Sylla has taken a new step by joining the services of the African Development Bank (ADB) as an economist for more than 8 years.
